The Smiley Pit Stop was organized in 2007. We started with one local family and decided to pledge for 2nd hand goods from friends and neighbors. We had a successful garage sale that amounted in over $1000 to save Tiger - a 5 year old family pit bull who was diagnosed with torn ACL ligaments in his right knee. This family had 3 choices: Not pay their rent, put Tiger to sleep or let him live in pain. I saw their plea for advice and organized an effort to raise money to help him. The Pit Stop is an Online version of a Garage Sale! Enjoy! 100% of the money goes to individual families and pit bulls needing extra help in a crisis... Check back often as our stock changes.
